Malèna's creations are an allegory of the history of the Mediterranean. The clothing and accessory designs are made from lightweight linen and cotton fabrics, in characteristic shades of greek landscape: the radiant white of architecture, the deep blue of the sea, the color of terracotta from our amphorae, and the green of olive trees.

Lesley-Elisabeth is a French architect of German-Greek heritage. Coming from a family of artists, she has been immersed in a world rich in culture since a young age. However, it is her life in Pelion, Greece, that becomes her wellspring of inspiration. The beauty of nature, simplicity, vibrant colors, and delightful flavors give birth to Malèna.
Mission
Malèna is a slow fashion brand. It all starts with our fabrics, which are deadstock fabrics of luxury European brands, sourced in collaboration with a wonderful French company. Therefore, our creations depend on the availability of fabrics, making each design unique and serving as a real inspiration in our creative process as we adapt to availability and demand. In addition to some classic models, many pieces are limited edition or available for pre-order.
Vision
In our ideal vision, we see art reintegrating our everyday lives and stepping outside of museums to come to life. We don't envision Malèna's clothes being worn as just garments, but rather as a lifestyle that aligns with an aesthetic consciousness, a desire for each individual to explore their artistic sensitivity, and to return to unique clothes and meaningful objects.
Malèna
The name Malèna draws its inspiration from the eponymous Italian film by Giuseppe Tornatore. In the movie, the character of Malèna, portrayed by Monica Bellucci, embodies the Mediterranean woman who personifies the allure and seductiveness of the femme fatale. In our eyes, the authentic Mediterranean woman is a symbol, epitomizing natural femininity, sensuality, and the strength of character. She is a muse. The aesthetic of the brand is both organic and artistic, as if each garment were a canvas, a work of art inspired by this muse, this Mediterranean woman.
